The Director General of Finas, Dato' Kamil Othman launched The
ActionCut Print 3-Day Film Making Seminar and Workshop organized by
InfoMedia Network Sdn. Bhd. with the support of the Ministry of
Communication and Multimedia Malaysia, FINAS, Tourism Malaysia and
Taylor's University. This interactive seminar and workshop is held from
25 - 27 March 2016 which aims to impart and exchange knowledge in film making by the international award winning film makers.
The speakers such as Peter Marshall, Mark W. Travis and assisted by
three exceptional film makers - Geoff Schaaf, Michael Bruce Adams and
Randy Finch are here in Kuala Lumpur at the said event for three days.
Kamil in his opening remarks expressed the high importance of this
masterclass in building and transfering knowledge of film making by
award winning experts." Take this class seriously by acquiring as much
inputs and share with them about our good Malaysian movies too".
In the new transformation of Finas, he further explained on the
essential need of producing good scripts that can be sent
internationally.
