Interchange by Dain Said and Best Malaysian Film at 28th Malaysian
Film Festival, Jagat by Shanjhey Kumar Perumal have been selected to
represent Malaysia at the 10th edition of Five Flavours Film Festival
which takes place in Warsaw, Poland from 16th to 23rd of November, 2016.
Selected under Competition: New Cinema, Interchange and Jagat have made
through into the competition section
with other independent films from emerging Asian authors where the best
films are awarded by the People's Jury comprises of Asian cinema
enthusiasts all over Poland.
Celebrating the 10th edition, Five Flavours has brought to Poland
premiere screenings of the latest and most appealing productions,
classics and retrospectives of renowned Asian filmmakers where the
previous editions saw the pioneering programmes of cinema from Vietnam,
Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. In addition, the
festival is accompanied by a diverse program of additional events,
including meetings with directors and other film guests, critics or
experts, debates and interactive film workshops.
